Questions we anticipate you'll have about Aislinn's maternity leave

1. Will the shop remain open while Aislinn is away?

-Yes! but with slightly altered hours- updated store hours are posted on our home page

2. Can we still buy skates while Aislinn is away?

-Beginner skaters, absolutely! You'll be in good hands with our seasoned Home Ice colleagues Ailsa Robertson, Christie Marshall and Kerry Doh but remember to call in advance to book an appointment!

-Advanced skaters (those who need to purchase a boot and blade separately) we recommend reaching out to Cooke's in Wilmington, The Ice House in Wellesley, the Sharper Edge in Peabody or Igloo skate in Rhode Island until Aislinn is back

3. How about sharpening? 

-We are thrilled to have SCOB coach Daniel Radd offer his expert sharpening services while Aislinn is away (you're in good hands!) You can contact him directly at 727-647-1981. *Note Daniel is not a Home Ice employee, so payments will be made directly to him for time and services.

4. When does Aislinn come back?

-We don't have firm dates set (babies can be unpredictable!) but our plan is to have Aislinn returning part time mid December
